Darla Leidig Neil

Darla was born Friday July 11 2003 at Allen Hospital in Waterloo. She as 7 lbs. 7 oz. and 19 inches long. She had lots of visitors come see her, Grandma and Grandpa were waiting outside, with Deb Moeller. Later Daniel Warner came by, better know as Uncle Dan. A short while later Gerald and Bev Buhrow brought Big sister Robyn to see Darla. After we got moved Kim Meyer and Grady stopped by and Uncle Chris, Aunt Angie, Ava and baby Brenden came later. After everyone's work day was done Justin Tagtow stopped by and also Dahne Homan. That Night Uncle Michael got there and later on "Autie Jen" go there all the way from CA!!! 

Well beyond that point Darla just basically continued to GROW she is getting bigger by the day it seems. 

Darla took her first big trip at about 2 months to Kentucky for Scott and Jen Buhrows Wedding. We were going to fly but Grandma and Grandpa Browne go their new Toyota Sienna Van so we all drove. All 6 of us went in the van. The wedding was great. 

October was a big month for Darla On the 12th was Darla's Baptism at Zion Lutheran in Readlyn, one year to the day from Ben and my wedding. And then 4 days later we left for Darla's first Airplane ride to go to California to meet Grammie and Uncle Brian and Aunt Sara. Shortly after our return was Darla's First Holiday ,Halloween!!! Darla and Robyn were a under the sea theme. Robyn was a mermaid and Darla was a squid. It was a great night for trick or treating and both girls got lots of loot.

November was another month of growing. On Thanksgiving Darla got to meet the entire Neil family and Dale and Diane's thanksgiving festivities. Then it was on the grandma and grandpa Browne's. 

December was a busy and exciting month because not only did it mean Christmas was coming but lots of other things were going to happen. On the 5th Auntie Jen arrived for the month and that was fun. Uncle Michael was in waterloo a lot with Jordin. Then Ben Horton arrived from England to stay through the holidays. We got together a lot with them. Then it was time for Christmas!!!!! Darla received many great gifts from everyone. 

Then New Years !!! It was the first time Darla had Pizza !! She was starting her new obsession with FOOD. Darla started talking in baby babble and began to lung to get around her belly had to hurt. 

Darla has just amazed us everyday with how fast she can now get around and how quickly she is figuring things out. She also has taken a new fascination with computer!!! a girl after her own dads heart!!

Well as she continues to grow I will update the page so you can be right with her amazing growth.
